[Part I: BLACK]
Now that you've seen me at my worst, tell me
Does that set the precedent for the rest of us?
You saw the livid and witty
The ugly and pretty
And all in between from South to the city
You saw the angry, bitter, black bitch
Full of resentment
Of vile, capable of wickedness
But it was only out of retaliation against
The ones who wronged us
The ones who accused us
The ones who caged and maimed and tried to tame us
Yet we're the ones that must deliver, to you, an apology?
I crossed every line because you did it first
Now, we're both covered head-to-toe in bruises
"An eye for an eye and the world goes blind"
To the problems at hand, for love on the isle
Whilst they slaughter my kind
Steal and shackle our kin
And continuously torture us all
Deem some of us worthy of just a piece
A sliver of humanity
Cherry picking the qualities that you
No one else but you have deemed fit for your aesthetic
Paint you morals in black and white, all just to suit your look
Light flames at the stake but make no mistake
This is the society we've allowed ourselves to conjure
Why start a fire just to let it all burn?
Like the embers of my heart, it scorches a blaze
Fueled by hatred and by rage
But no love is lost
Because there is none left
We wave that forsaken flag as a waiver
To our unwavering faith in a sickly humanity
In this corrupted reality
But let me ask you this
Who does your god favor?
Those who undeservedly see us as less than human
Or those who are undeservedly treated as such?
Dark, callous, cold, empty, heartless
I should've used my heart less
When addressing you as my teacher with nothing to teach us
As my officer with no reform
As my president with no principles
To the dearly departed, I hope that you sink below six feet under
I hope, when you die, that life eats away at your memory
Except all the pain we exchanged during your tenure
With Tori the helper
Hatter the temper
Birdie the protector
And I'll hold this grudge in my heart
As a reminder of why
