A distant glowing ember
Starts to rise above the hill
Another day is born
And the ground that looks so cold
Seems to smile as it is told
It will be warm again
And mother earth gives birth
To a glowing child
With rays that break
The darkness running wild
Silent night is broken
By a bird that has awoken
To the break of day
And each flower lifts its head
As though returning from the dead
With something kind to say
And mother earth gives birth
To a glowing child
With rays that break
The darkness running wild
Morning, morning, morning begins
With scarlet rings shining brightly
The morning mist unveils the queen of day
Night is gone as it should do quite rightly
It has to pass, it has to give way to the dawn
A distant glowing ember
Starts to rise above the hill
Another day is born
And the ground that looks so cold
Seems to smile as it is told
It will be warm again
And mother earth gives birth
To a glowing child
With rays that break
The darkness running wild
Here comes the sun
Here comes the sun
Here comes the sun
Here comes the sun
Here comes the sun
Here comes the sun
Here comes the sun
